It takes a lot of words to explain but is fairly easy to learn in practice. You must pick up the goods in another city and deliver them to the city on the card, and you get money based on the distance traveled to deliver said product. You get 3 cards, each of which has a destination and the desired product. The way you make money is by making deliveries. Once you build track between mileposts, you connect the dots with a crayon (which you can also see in that last link). Each milepoint ( one dot is a milepoint) costs between 1 and 5 million euros (the smallest unit of money used in this game 1 million euros) depending on the terrain. Basically, you have money and you use that money build railroad tracks. If everyone takes quick turns, it becomes much more fun. The only reason I give this an 8/10 is if you play with people who take ridiculously long turns. The story isn’t the best, but I feel it is adequate and that there wasn’t much more they could do with it. The goal is to beat the competition and be the best train tycoon. Basically, you and the other players are just starting up train companies. But, since I love this game so much right, I can’t have had too negative an opinion of it. I was introduced at a young age and have always loved it since. Whenever my family and I are trying to decide upon a game to play, this is almost always my first suggestion. The Iron Flail is automatically upgraded to Disciplined (+20% hit points and attack) in the Fortress Age.Euro Rails is my game. Fortunately, to compensate, it has a high amount of hit points, making it still a valuable unit to round out the Chinese army. The Iron Flail can be trained in the Imperial Army alongside Arquebusiers, or in the Forbidden Army alongside Meteor Hammers.ĭue to the Iron Flail's fairly low base damage, it is quite poor against other cavalry and not especially quick at killing artillery.
If Double Faced Armor is shipped, it boosts the range resist up to an impressive 41%, allowing it to tank an incredible amount of ranged fire, even allowing it to stand up to ranged cavalry for a short time. The thing that sets the Iron Flail apart is that it has a splash damage attack, making it especially effective vs massed infantry and an exceptional raider as well.
It behaves similarly to the Naginata Rider, in that it possesses a multiplier against ranged infantry such as Skirmishers (please note that this does not include true light infantry such as Coyote Runners). The Iron Flail is a powerful heavy cavalry available to the Chinese.
